Gift Certificate Program
Clients can use a
90 minute massage gift certificate from
www.SwedishMassage.us to get a massage from any therapist on this site that
they have never been to before. There
are many companies that will offer to sell your introductory gift certificates
and keep all the money. Many Massage Therapists will work with these companies,
even though they don't get paid for the massage, in the hopes that the person
with the gift certificate will become a paying client. The problem is that
these companies sell the gift certificates very cheap, so it's unlikely these
people will come back to you for your full price. Most people won't buy
gift certificates on this site, because it is too expensive, for an introductory
massage. Other websites sell introductory massage gift certificates much
cheaper. I donate
www.SwedishMassage.us gift
certificates to charities for fund raisers. Most of the gift certificates that
go out are donated to charities. Of the few I sell or barter for, almost all are
to people in Iowa or San Diego. Unless you are from Iowa or San Diego, it is
very unlikely that you will get any gift certificates that were purchased or
bartered for. In other words, do not agree to participate
in the gift certificate program, if you aren't comfortable doing a free
massage in the hope that the person will become a client or refer you to others.
You will get $80 worth of promotional products for every gift certificate you
receive that was sold.
Give me a call at 858-729-4232 if you'd like
to meet me or exchange massage, when I'm in your area.
Benefits for Massage Therapists:
- If you do a good job, the client with a gift certificate
may become a paying client. If you're an excellent Massage Therapist,
why pay for an ad in the local newspaper. Your best advertisement is your excellent
massage. The best way to become excellent is by giving massages, so even if
you're not good enough to get many repeat clients, you might want to accept the gift certificates.
- Business from people who see your ad and go to you
directly, rather than use a gift certificate.
- Return offer for gift
certificates.
- Use of the massage trade card.
Benefits for clients:
- The therapists who have a gift certificate symbol next to
their ad are likely to be very good at
what they do, otherwise they wouldn't want to give free massages, to
clients who aren't likely to come back for a substandard massage.
- If you buy a gift certificate from an individual Massage
Therapist, the person you give the gift certificate to can't choose who they
want to get the massage from. Buying from us gives the person a
choice of therapists and specialties.
- The opportunity to try a therapists massage,
without the risk of wasting a lot of money on a bad massage. If the
therapist does exceptional work, keep him/her. If not, keep looking.
- The therapists on this site are listed according to the
number of gift certificates they have accepted. The higher the number, the
higher they are listed in their state and the
better they are likely to be. If you get
an excellent massage from a therapist on this site, give a gift certificate
to someone who deserves it and tell that person to use it to
get a massage from that excellent therapist.
Benefits for both clients and Massage Therapists
- This site only has Massage Therapists listed, so you
don't have to wade through other holistic practitioners.
- There are no display ads, articles, etc.
- I shoot straight from the hip, I'm honest. I don't have MTs enter a
promotional code, to make them think they're getting a better deal, etc.
I don't use tricky marketing or deceptive advertising. I have my phone # listed throughout this site, so you can contact me easily.
- This site is simple. I don't need a staff of people
to keep track of gift certificate or coupon redemptions and mail out checks
to therapists for their percentage, etc. This allows me to give
Massage Therapists a better deal on advertising here.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please let me know.
